Install IBM Cognos Insight 10.2.0.1

Today I installed free-to-use-for-personal-non-commercial-use IBM Cognos Insight 10.2.0.1 on my personal laptop, to see what all the hype is about, finally.

Go here to download the IBM Cognos Insight software. Check if your environment is supported or not here. You can find the info center for IBM Cognos Insight here.

Installation went through smooth in under 5 minutes. The below are few snapshots from the same.

You will have to allow access to two applications tm1ipmp.exe and cognosinsight.exe through the Windows firewall.

 At first glance, I though I am looking at the UI of a Video editing or Video conversion software !!! Lol But this UI is clean and super smooth. They included some cool themes too.
